Job description
Role: Clinical Nurse specializing in Kidney/Liver Transplant Surgery, providing direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
Educate patients and families on managing their illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Develop, communicate, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
New graduates and experienced nurses are welcome; preferred Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work safely and alertly in a safety-sensitive position.
Key Duties: Support patients through complex transplant procedures, participate in transplant-specific orientation, critical care training, and nurse residency programs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and spiritual care providers. Focus on continuous professional growth and making a meaningful impact in transplant care.
