Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential.
Responsibilities:
Promote a healing environment by educating patients and families.
Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
Develop, implement, and document care plans with clear goals, coordinating across care settings.
Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
Maintain safety-sensitive practices, working alertly and safely at all times.
Qualifications:
Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience is preferred.
