Job description

This Clinical Nursing Manager role is ideal for an experienced Massachusetts RN who wants to lead field nurses, strengthen psychiatric home health operations, and help expand access to compassionate, Joint Commission-accredited care across the state.

Who We Are

At Comfort Home Care, we're redefining mental health care by delivering compassionate, evidence-based services where our patients feel most secure at home. Serving more than 1,000 individuals across Massachusetts, we are proud to be the only psychiatric home health agency in the state accredited by the Joint Commission. Our mission is to empower people facing psychiatric challenges to achieve wellness, independence, and stability. Every day, our work makes a direct impact on patients' lives-and we're looking for leaders who share that purpose.

Why This Is a Strong Opportunity

As a Clinical Nursing Manager, you won't just be managing processes, you'll be shaping the future of psychiatric home health care in Massachusetts. This is a chance to:

Lead with purpose: Build, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated field nurses who provide life-changing care.

Grow professionally: Work directly with executive leadership and cross-functional partners in Clinical Education and Business Development, giving you visibility and influence beyond traditional nursing management.

Enjoy flexibility: This role is primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings at our local offices, giving you the best of both worlds-autonomy and connection.

Join a collaborative, mission-driven team that values innovation, growth, and work-life balance.

Make an impact: Help shape care strategies that directly improve patient outcomes and expand access to high-quality psychiatric services.

The Role

Our Nursing Managers are both clinical leaders and team builders. In this role, you will:

Oversee patient care operations and ensure clinical excellence.

Serve as a trusted liaison between field nurses, physicians, and community partners.

Coach, mentor and manage nursing staff, creating a strong and supportive team culture.

Collaborate with leadership on strategic decisions that improve care delivery.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and uphold our Joint Commission-accredited standards.

Our Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is not only clinically skilled but also energized by leading people and shaping systems. You will thrive in this role if you are:

A motivator and mentor who loves developing nurses and helping them reach their potential.

Detail-oriented and organized, able to balance compliance with compassion.

A problem-solver, ready to navigate challenges in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Collaborative and communicative, skilled at building relationships across disciplines.

Mission-driven, with a genuine passion for advancing psychiatric care in the community.
