Clinical ObserverMake a Meaningful Impact Every DayAre you passionate about patient care and safety? Meritus Health is seeking dedicated Clinical Observers to join our Nursing Services team. In this vital role, you'll provide one-to-one observation and support for patients, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment while assisting with daily living activities.What You'll DoProvide constant observation and personal care for patients requiring one-to-one supportAssist with daily living needs: bathing, oral care, mobility, nutrition, and eliminationDocument patient interactions and observations accuratelyIdentify and report behavioral changes or safety concerns to nursing staffMaintain a hazard-free patient environment and follow safety protocols during transportSupport nursing assistants and serve as a preceptor for new team membersQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to sit in quiet observation of patient for long periods of time without distraction.Experience in customer service or team-based environments a plusCurrent BLS (CPR) certification requiredStrong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient safetyPhysical & Mental RequirementsThis role involves frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), as well as continuous mental focus and communication.
