Job description
This opportunity is for an experienced clinical pharmacist with infusion expertise to provide comprehensive patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves primarily clinical patient management, with some rotation through production duties, ensuring a well-rounded pharmacy practice experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinically manage patient medication therapies to optimize outcomes
Participate in production activities as part of rotation
Handle on-call rotation roughly every 7th weekend and about three times per month during weekdays
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness
Qualifications and Experience Required: Valid Texas Pharmacist License (mandatory)
Intravenous (IV) Certification
Significant infusion pharmacy experience
Commitment to obtaining Oklahoma Pharmacist License within six months of hire
Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex patient cases
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Standard hours 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
During on-call rotation, shift changes to 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
On-call rotation is approximately every seventh weekend and three weekdays monthly
