Job description
A healthcare facility in the Madison, WI area seeks experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role involves a mix of day and evening shifts, working five 8-hour shifts per week with rotating every third weekend. Candidates with a minimum of two years of recent inpatient experience will excel in this position.
Location: Madison, WI
Schedule:
Mix of days (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evenings (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
5x8-hour shifts per week
Rotating every 3rd weekend
Responsibilities: Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient/acute care setting
Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
Monitor therapeutic medication regimens
Manage drug shortages effectively
Deliver pharmacotherapy management for varied medical problems
Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication
Qualifications/Desired Experience: At least 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
Proficiency with pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
Familiarity with therapeutic medication monitoring and drug shortage management
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Wisconsin ACT-10 license acceptable
Additional Requirements: Must comply with mask fit testing protocols; shaving is mandatory to ensure proper mask seal
Use of personal PAPRs or CAPRs not permitted; facility-provided scrubs supplied once employment begins
