This opportunity is designed for experienced clinical pharmacists seeking to advance their career in a dynamic inpatient pharmacy setting. With a strong emphasis on oncology, this position offers valuable exposure to chemotherapy-related pharmacy practices, enhancing your clinical expertise.
Location: Everett, WA
Job Type: Contract (16 weeks + potential Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification using Epic pharmacy software to ensure accuracy and safety.
Conduct final product verification checks before medication distribution.
Provide clinical support by answering drug information inquiries and clinical questions.
Supervise pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow and compliance.
Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations to support critical care needs.
Utilize IT systems, including Epic and Pyxis, for efficient pharmacy operations.
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist with inpatient pharmacy experience.
Preference for candidates with chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy exposure.
Familiarity with Epic pharmacy systems and Pyxis automation preferred.
Strong communication skills for clinical consultation and team collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
