Job description
A hospital located just outside South Bend, IN, is seeking two inpatient pharmacists to join their team for a 13-week contract starting June 1. This opportunity involves working in an inpatient pharmacy setting with two day shift options available: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification using Cerner Meds Manager in a fast-paced hospital environment
Manage inpatient pharmacy distribution services, including IV room preparation
Handle hospital-based medications such as IV antibiotics, IV anticoagulants, and IV electrolytes
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery
Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Cerner Meds Manager order verification required
Experience with Pyxis and Pharmacy Keeper systems preferred
Familiarity with inpatient hospital pharmacy workflows and medication preparation
New graduates are welcome if they have Cerner order verification experience
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
