Job description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with a minimum of one year of inpatient experience to join a healthcare facility for a 13-week contract. This role requires working closely with a healthcare team to optimize patient medication therapy and ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care within an inpatient setting.
Location: Clifton, NJ
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital environment
Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients
Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and medication management
Monitor patient responses to medications and provide education as needed
Qualifications and Experience: Active pharmacist license
At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Ability to work independently and efficiently under a clinical protocol
First-time travelers are welcome; candidates must be located at least 50 miles away from Clifton, NJ
