Job description
A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to work in an inpatient pharmacy setting. This role involves variable shifts, providing flexibility to accommodate different schedules, and requires immediate availability to start.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient medication therapy.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Qualifications and Experience: Active Arizona pharmacist license is mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy practices.
