Job description
A clinical pharmacist position is available at a major medical center's main campus, offering a contract opportunity starting mid-June for approximately 13 weeks. This role involves providing overnight inpatient pharmacy services, working a schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Schedule/Hours:
Overnight shifts
4 shifts per week
Hours: 9:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities: Conduct inpatient pharmacy duties including medication order verification and clinical checks
Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance
Verify and check intravenous (IV) preparations
Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and order processing
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
Strong knowledge of medication verification and pharmacy operations in a hospital setting
Experience with supervising pharmacy technicians
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
