Job description
A community hospital north of Oklahoma City is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to work day shifts in a supportive healthcare environment. This role offers the opportunity to practice and grow your clinical skills in a 100-bed hospital setting, with a collaborative team focused on patient care.
Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, performing pharmacokinetic monitoring, and consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Utilizing Meditech for pharmacy IT operations, you will play a key role in enhancing medication management and patient safety.
Ideal candidates will hold an active Oklahoma pharmacist license and possess hospital pharmacy experience. New graduates with a PGY-1 residency or similar clinical training are encouraged to apply, reflecting the hospital's commitment to developing emerging talent.
Location: Perkins, OK - approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City.
Schedule: Day shifts to support consistent, patient-centered care.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Clinical training such as PGY-1 residency beneficial for new graduates
Proficiency or willingness to learn Meditech system
Strong communication skills for effective multidisciplinary collaboration
