Job description
This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist to work night shifts in a 175-bed hospital environment. The role requires a dedicated professional with hospital experience who can manage a variety of clinical and supervisory responsibilities.
Location:
Reno, NV
Schedule: Nights, 7 days on, 7 days off
10-hour shifts
Duration: Contract role for 13 weeks or longer
Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities: Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
Supervise pharmacy technician activities to ensure quality and compliance
Consult with physicians and nurses regarding patient care and medication management
Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust therapies as needed
Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active Nevada pharmacist license
Previous hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in a clinical setting
Comfortable and available to work night shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills
