Job description
Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Clinical Pharmacist during night shifts at a well-established 175-bed hospital. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where your skills in medication management and patient care can make a significant impact.
Location:
Sun Valley, NV (Reno area)
Schedule: Night shift
7 on, 7 off schedule
10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities: Perform order verification with accuracy and attention to detail
Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Collaborate with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care
Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication regimens
Utilize technology systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management
Qualifications: Valid Nevada pharmacist license is required
Previous hospital pharmacy experience with familiarity in clinical settings
Ability and willingness to work night shifts consistently
Knowledge of EPIC and Pyxis systems is preferred
Contract Details: Duration extends for 13 weeks or longer
Immediate availability preferred
