Job description
A pharmacy professional is needed for a role in an outpatient/infusion center pharmacy focused on oncology patients. This opportunity offers a temp-to-hire position with a starting schedule of Monday through Friday day shifts. The assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks with an ASAP start, providing a great way to showcase your skills in a specialized pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
Supervise pharmacy technicians and provide guidance as needed
Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy
Manage pharmacy operations within an outpatient infusion setting, primarily serving oncology patients
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Florida Pharmacist license is required
Experience working with chemotherapy and oncology patients, either in outpatient or inpatient settings
Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and supervise technical staff
