Job description
A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available at an infusion pharmacy located in Ventura County. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse range of medication classes, including chemotherapy and oncology treatments, supporting critical patient care with expert pharmaceutical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense infusion medications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to review and manage chemo/oncology medication therapies.
Monitor patient responses and provide clinical guidance related to medication regimens.
Maintain thorough documentation and uphold pharmacy regulations and protocols.
Desired Qualifications: Valid California pharmacist license.
Experience working with chemo/oncology medications in a clinical or pharmacy setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy environment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
No nights or weekends.
This role is a contract assignment with a duration of 13 weeks or more and potential to transition to permanent employment. The start date is flexible but preferred as soon as possible.
