Responsibilities:
* Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of operational specialty practice areas (IV room, diversion/narcotics management, informatics, residency program director/coordinator, and others) within the pharmacy department and providing pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist as needed.
* They will provide user support, perform maintenance activities and troubleshooting, monitor proper functionality , and ensure policies and procedures are developed, implemented, documented, and followed.
* The operations s pecialist coordinates upgrade testing activities, education , and serves as the subject matter expert for the operational specialty practice area.
* Coordinate and serve as a subject matter expert and provide training as needed for operational specialty practice areas.
* Must serve as the preceptor for pharmacy students or residents.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
* B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy .
* Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
