Job Description
* This Clinical Pharmacist role provides comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services to ensure safe, effective medication use and excellent patient care. This role includes verifying medication orders, dispensing medications, managing drug therapies, monitoring patient-specific factors, and supporting pharmacy operations within a collaborative healthcare environment. Type: Permanent / Contingent
Shift: Days - rotating weekends
Responsibilities
* Interpret, verify, and accurately enter medication orders
* Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals safely
* Monitor medication therapy for drug-drug and drug-food interactions, allergies, contraindications, and appropriate dosing
* Support hospital formulary management and therapeutic interchange programs
* Provide medication information to patients and healthcare professionals
* Perform clinical services including pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation monitoring, renal dosing, IV-to-PO conversion, nutrition support, pain management, and drug consultations
* Document clinical interventions and report medication errors or adverse drug reactions
* Supervise pharmacy operations and support the pharmacy team
Required Qualifications
* BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
* Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing

Pay and Shift Differentials
52/hr Min - $59/hr Mid - $64/hr Max (Based on Experience)
* 2nd Shift: +$2.00/hr
* 3rd Shift: +$4.25/hr
* Extra Shift Premium: +$3.00/hr
