Responsibilities
Oversee preparation and dispensing of medications, perform medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system
Provide clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions
Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required
Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required
experience in Oncology pharmacy preferred
