Job description
A healthcare facility in Racine, WI is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on acute care, pharmacotherapy, and medication management for hospitalized patients.
Schedule & Hours:
Five 8-hour shifts per week
Mix of day shifts (6:30 am - 3:00 pm) and evening shifts (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)
Rotating every third weekend off
Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient pharmacy services in an acute care setting
Perform pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing adjustments, and therapeutic medication monitoring
Manage drug shortages and optimize pharmacotherapy for medical conditions
Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for medication documentation and order verification
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
Proficient in acute care and inpatient pharmacotherapy
Familiarity with pharmacokinetic and renal dosing principles
Experience with drug shortage management and therapeutic drug monitoring
Licensed as a Pharmacist in Wisconsin (ACT-10 license accepted)
Additional Requirements: Travelers must be clean-shaven to achieve an effective mask seal for FIT testing; PAPRs and CAPRs are not provided or permitted
Failure to meet FIT testing requirements will result in assignment cancellation
Scrubs will be provided upon start date
