Job description
This opportunity seeks a clinical pharmacist with inpatient experience to support pharmacy operations. The role is based in Racine, WI, with the potential for relocation to Portland, OR. The position is a 13+ week contract with an ASAP start and offers variable days and afternoon shifts to accommodate different schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy.
Utilize pharmacy information systems, including Cerner and Pyxis, for medication management.
Monitor patient medication regimens and provide clinical interventions as needed.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid OR Pharmacist License required.
Experience in inpatient pharmacy preferred.
Proficient with Cerner and Pyxis systems.
Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Location: Primary location is Racine, WI, with an assignment opportunity in Portland, OR.
Schedule: Variable shifts including days and afternoons, designed to fit clinical needs.
