An opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in inpatient care is available at a major medical center in Lubbock, TX. This role is a travel position with a potential pathway to permanent employment for candidates willing to relocate. The hospital is a 500-bed facility featuring a 42-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU, serving a dynamic patient population that demands expert pharmaceutical care. The facility transitioned to the EPIC electronic health record system in February, emphasizing the need for familiarity with this platform.

Location:

Lubbock, TX

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off

Night shifts (Wednesday to Tuesday rotation)

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services

Ensure safe and effective medication management for diverse patient populations, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care units

Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and improve patient outcomes

Utilize EPIC system for clinical documentation and medication management tasks

Desired Qualifications: 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred

Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is a strong advantage

Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently on night shift

Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
