Clinical Pharmacist
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Location: Panama City, FL
Schedule: Mixed Shift
Compensation: $58 - $73/Hr
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is providing general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
* Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
* Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
* Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
* Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team.
What qualifications you will need:
* Looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of recent Clinical Pharmacist hospital experience *MUST HAVE ACUTE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST YEAR.
* B.S. or PharmD from and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required
* Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate Florida State Board of Pharmacy
