Job description
This opportunity is ideal for experienced inpatient pharmacists with a solid background in clinical pharmacy looking to contribute in a dynamic hospital setting. The role is based in Waukesha, WI, serving a reputable hospital in Madison, WI, on a contract basis for 13 weeks, starting June 8.
Schedule & Hours:
5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Rotating shifts between days (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and evenings (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Rotating weekend coverage every third weekend
Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical pharmacy services within an inpatient setting
Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
Monitor therapeutic medication outcomes
Manage drug shortages effectively
Deliver pharmacotherapy management tailored to various medical conditions
Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and medication management
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license; ACT-10 license holders are eligible
Strong skills in pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
Experience with therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacotherapy management
Additional Requirements: Travelers must be clean-shaven for mask fit testing, as CAPR and PAPR devices are not permitted or provided
Non-compliance with fit testing requirements will result in immediate cancellation of the assignment
