Job description
This opportunity calls for a skilled clinical pharmacist to support an outpatient/infusion center pharmacy focused on oncology care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with chemotherapy patients and a strong clinical background in oncology or related inpatient settings.
Schedule & Location:
Monday through Friday, day shifts
Position based in Winter Haven, FL
Immediate start, with an initial assignment of 13 weeks plus
Temp-to-hire opportunity for long-term placement
Responsibilities: Verify medication orders with precision to ensure patient safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians, maintaining efficient workflow and compliance
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication regimens
Provide clinical consults and recommendations, particularly concerning oncology therapies
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Florida Pharmacist license required
Experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy practice preferred; experience from inpatient oncology settings is acceptable
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage pharmacy technicians and interact with clinical staff
