About the Position:
This is a Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health) position, Psychiatry Services at Guthrie Army Health Clinic, Fort Drum, New York.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal Service.
Student loan repayment MAY be authorized.

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health)
Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position we must also meet the qualification requirements listed below :
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes providing individual or group therapy using a variety of evidence-based modalities; assessing acute mental health conditions; maintaining patient care documentation; and collaborating with staff regarding patient care. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
License:
A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
