Job description
Your new role
As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will join in our efforts to provide neuro‑behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities.
What you’ll do
Provide evaluations
Establish differential diagnoses (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, vascular)
Conduct cognitive assessments
Deliver condition‑specific support therapy or insight‑based therapy when indicated
Coordinate the patient’s care plan with the facility, PCP, and GuideStar colleagues, and engage with family as indicated
What you’ll need to succeed
An active state psychologist license
Passion for the geriatric population
Interest in neuro‑behavioral science
Desire to make a difference in populations with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders
HSPP preferred in applicable states
