The CRU at Moffitt supports clinical investigational research by monitoring patients undergoing clinical trials and administering investigational agents in an outpatient setting.The CRU at Magnolia sees 40 to 80 patients each day and between 30-60 investigational treatments ranging from 15 minutes to 12 hours.Responsibilities:Identifies documents and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patientFacilitates clinical research activity by performing ongoing assessments, administering nursing care and protocol therapy, monitoring of patients, delivering patient education, and documenting care for patients enrolled on clinical trials.Credentials and Qualifications:BSN from accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an accredited institution with 2 years of relevant experienceFL RN licenseBLS certificationAn applicant for this position, who will be or is seeking Florida licensure by endorsement, must not have any National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) reports, unless the applicant has successfully appealed to have their name removed from the NPDB.
