What do we do?
CHSI is a private, non-profit organization established in 1973 to serve the health needs of migrant & seasonal farm workers and their family members. Today, CHSI has expanded its services and provides mental & physical healthcare to all individuals in our communities. Our services are provided on a more affordable sliding fee scale to those who are underinsured or uninsured. We also accept ND and MN Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance plans. We currently operate four nurse‑managed clinics, two mobile medical units, and two victim advocacy program centers in Minnesota & North Dakota.
Who are we looking for?
We are searching for a full-time Clinical Services Manager to join our Willmar, MN team.
Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
Clinical Leadership
Leads nursing practice across CHSI locations
Standardizes clinical workflows and nursing procedures
Develops nursing policies and clinical support protocols
Supports implementation of evidence‑based practices
Oversees nursing competencies
Leads nursing orientation and onboarding
Staff Management
Directly supervises RN and LPN staff
Coaches and develops nursing leaders
Completes performance evaluations
Participates in hiring and onboarding
Assists with succession planning
Addresses performance concerns
Builds a culture of accountability
Dyad Leadership with Site Managers
Participates in operational meetings
Balances staffing needs with clinic operation
Coordinates implementation of new workflows
Solves clinical‑operational issues collaboratively
Supports provider productivity
Collaborates to provide improvement for patient access
Coordinates staffing coverage during absences
Clinical Infrastructure
Develops clinical workflows
Develops standards for the vaccine program compliance
Completes reporting for referrals and improves workflows
Develops and reviews standing orders
Develops standards for clinical supplies
Coordinates compliance of the infection control program
Oversees clinical emergency preparedness
Develops clinical documentation procedures and accountability
Quality Improvement and Risk Management
Monitors nursing quality metrics
Participates in risk investigations
Assists with FTCA readiness
Participates in OSV preparation
Monitors incident reporting
Leads nursing quality improvement
Audits nursing documentation
Population Health
Collaborates on chronic disease initiatives
Supports care gap closure
Oversees nursing outreach
Supports care coordination
Partners with Outreach & Enrollment (O&E) teams
Uses Epic and Azara data to improve patient outcomes

State nursing regulation
Physical Abilities
Ability to bend and crouch occasionally, sit continuously, and stand or walk frequently
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to use hands/arms, feet/legs for repetitive fine to large motor skill movements
Education
A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.
Licenses / Certifications
Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse; Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Experience
Minimum three years of nursing experience; Program management and supervisory experience desirable; Experience in a primary care setting preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of and ability to apply nursing principles and practices
Demonstrated teaching ability and experience
Skill in identifying problems, researching, and recommending resolutions
Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance
Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision‑making
Experience with Centricity or other Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
Knowledge and understanding of socio‑economic and health problems of underserved populations
Qualifications
Good problem‑solving abilities with independent judgment utilizing initiative, discretion, and the nursing process as needed

Effective communication with staff, physicians/providers, and patients
