Clinical Social Worker, MSW EPS E/O Weekend Sat/Sun Evenings 3-11:30PM
Boston Children's Hospital's acclaimed Social Work Emergency Services team responds to social needs and issues in the Emergency Department and throughout inpatient services. This includes performing biopsychosocial assessments, as well as implementing trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions. We also provide management and advocacy for both patients and families. We are currently seeking a social worker for our e/o weekend Saturday and Sunday evening position 3-11:30PM Key Responsibilities:
Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental difficulties.
Performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.
Participating in planning and implementation of discharge and outpatient service plans and collaborating with health care team and community agencies to plan, implementing and following up on treatment and provision of needed services.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
A master's degree in social work
Experience:
Strong clinical skills and experience with various therapeutic modalities.
Previous medical social work experience a plus
Spanish language skills are a plus
Licensure/Certification:
State of MA LCSW or LICSW is required.
This position is 100% onsite and eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus, and additional shift differential pay for working weekend evening hours! *This position is every/other weekend Sat and Sun 3-11:30PM*
Part-Time Regular, Temporary, Per Diem Regular 8 Standard Hours per Week $29.91-$47.85 Hourly
