The Opportunity
18-month fixed-term full-time contract opportunity available for a solution focused and results-orientated Clinical Specialist in Adelaide. Reporting into the Clinical Team Leader and working as part of the Joint Reconstruction team in SA, you will focus on supporting surgical procedures across our Hip & Knee portfolios.
Responsibilities
Providing in-theatre case support and coverage to Orthopaedic Surgeons and delivering in-servicing, workshops, and training sessions for hospital staff
Building strong relationships with key Surgeons and operating theatre staff members and optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team
Collaborating with Sales teams to drive product adoption and supporting product rollouts, demo, and evaluations
Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience
About You
Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic etc.), and confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment
Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused
Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, and is organised with good time management skills
This position requires frequent travel to hospitals within Adelaide Metro and occasional travel to regional hospitals in SA. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
