Job description
Clinical Staff Pharmacist, Acute Care – Part Time
Springhill Medical Center's inpatient pharmacy provides services for 200+ inpatients, an advanced heart care center, and one of the busiest emergency departments in the city. Pharmacists are required to: manage medication dosing and monitoring services, participate in proactive antibiotic stewardship program, verify orders placed in 100% electronic chart, and manage technician staff.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
Current Alabama Pharmacist license
Valid controlled substance certificate.
Job Requirements:
Hospital Pharmacy experience required
Basic math skills required for compounding IVs
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform moderate physical work exerting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
