Job description
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Three (3) years of progressive Nursing experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing
Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Current New York State Registered Nurse License
CPR within 3 months of hire
Preferred:
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration)
ACLS certification

Work Environment
Work is performed in primarily in a mobile manner, with greater than 70% of working hours spent rounding to patient care units and in direct contact with numerous employees, visitors, patients and physicians. Areas are air conditioned and heated.
Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
