Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) - Cardiac Unit, Full-time Nights

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and Stroke, and most recently, coronary artery disease.
Additionally, Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services such as behavioral health (Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health), emergency medical care (main hospital and ER at Sweetwater), orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services(Hitchcock Rehabilitation Services), imaging, and wound care.

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education requirements: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred.
Work experience requirements: Minimum of one-year full-time or three-years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing. One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
Required licenses/ certifications/courses Current South Carolina or qualifying compact state nursing license. BLS, ACLS and PALS (upon hire); NRP and TNCC (within 6 months). ENPC preferred.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
