Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst with hands-on Athena EHR experience to support the optimization of healthcare technology systems. This role acts as a critical liaison between clinical operations and IT, ensuring that electronic health records and other clinical systems align with the needs of providers and enhance patient care delivery. This is a hybrid role based in Queens County, NY.
Responsibilities
Serve as the bridge between clinical teams (physicians, nurses, etc.) and IT to improve system functionality
Provide system support and troubleshoot issues related to Athena EHR
Customize workflows and templates within Athena to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Generate, modify, and maintain clinical and operational reports as needed
Analyze current workflows and recommend system enhancements
Assist in training and onboarding staff on system features and best practices
Support clinical staff in the daily use of EHR systems and resolve technical problems promptly
Qualifications and Skills
At least 2 years of experience with Athena EHR (required)
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
Experience supporting clinical systems or healthcare IT environments
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving system issues
Ability to translate clinical needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
