Position: Clinical Teacher
nLocation: FLTCC
nSalary Range: $24.72 - $35.29 per hour based on experience and demonstrated abilities.

n nTeachers are expected to:
nnnWork with a diverse population of students.
n
nnProvide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
n
nnCollaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs.
n
nnRecord and report student progress.
n
nnMaintain comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing techniques and relation to medical surgical practices.
n
nnAbility to supervise the administration of nursing measures prescribed
n
n nJob Qualifications
nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnCandidate must: Hold current NYS Registered Nurse License
n
nnBachelor’s degree
n
nnDemonstrate five (5) or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
n
nnHold or demonstrate ability to hold NYSED Adult Education Certification
n
n nPreference given to candidates with:
nnnBSN degree
n
nnTeaching experience
n
nnThree (3) or more years of medical surgical nursing experience
n
nnTwo (2) or more years of caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill
n
n nCandidates should possess a broad skill set of effective teaching and learning to engage learners of all levels including, but not limited to:
nnnKnowledge of curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction.
n
nnAbility to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
n
nnExcellent written and oral communication skills.Promoting equity and culturally responsive practices to create inclusive environments.
n
