nMental Health Clinical Trainee: New Hope Mental Health Clinic
nPeople Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Clinical Trainee to join the teams at our New Hope Mental Health Clinic. This position provides an array of services using evidence-based practices that support client recovery, and facilitate safe, secure, and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic alliances, conducting diagnostic and comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning and daily interventions. Communicates professionally through one’s documentation and interactions with internal and external stakeholders. May provide clinical supervision organizationally for those working towards clinical licensure.
nSchedule: Full-Time. Monday-Friday, Regular clinic hours, clinic stays open until 7pm. Schedule includes two evenings per week until clinic closes at 7:00pm.
nnThis position may be eligible for some telehealth appointments after completion of introductory period.
n nLocation: New Hope Mental Health Center: 5555 Boone Avenue North in New Hope, Minnesota
nHiring Range: Salary variable on licensure and qualifications.
nnUnlicensed Clinical Trainee: $62,000 - $68,500 annually, plus $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates.

nMain Job Duties:
nnnResponsible for the development and implementation of client mental health services, ensuring documentation standards are met and addressing emergency situations as needed while demonstrating sound decision-making, discretion, and problem-solving skills at all times.
n
nnProvide program and/or divisional clinical supervision for People Incorporated staff that results in increased knowledge and skills necessary for the role.
n
nnProvide clinical supervision to assigned staff and interns providing counsel and evaluation of delivery of services, approving and/or cosigning treatment plans, documentation, and interaction with other program staff, as required.
n
nnActively participate in the mental health services providing leadership, sharing of clinical expertise with other team members and advancing the reputation of services provided.
n
nnPartner with other key clinical staff members on ensuring compliance with license requirements and any training that the program requires.
n
nnCollaborate with program leadership to ensure consistency of clinical direction given to staff.
n
nnProvide therapy in area of specialization, as required.
n
nnAssist in the development of specialized training to other clinical staff members, as required.
n
nnServe as the designated program lead in the absence of the primary program manager or supervisor.

n nQualifications
nRequired Qualifications: Unlicensed Clinical Trainee
nnnMaster's Degree in a behavior science or related field.
n
nn1-year full-time experience directly working with people with serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
n
nnWorking toward clinical licensure by obtaining required clinical supervision hours and client contact hours outlined by the appropriate licensing board.
n
n nPreferred Certifications/Licenses:
nnnApplicants that are close to obtaining licensure
n
nnCurrent certification in specialized area (EMDR, DBT, Trauma, Narrative Therapy, or Neuropsychology)
n
nnCurrent and valid evidence of being a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor for one or more of the professional boards.
