Job description
This position is for a full-time Clinical Triage Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective patient care in an outpatient setting. The nurse collaborates with primary care providers and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans, assesses patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and ensures adherence to clinical protocols and compliance standards.
Key duties include supporting providers with patient management, documenting assessments and treatments accurately, providing patient education, and demonstrating critical thinking skills. The role requires working in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience: 2-5 years required; 5-10 years preferred
Licenses & Certifications: RN license and BLS certification
Minimum: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and RN licensure
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and more extensive experience
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Assess and evaluate patients’ physical and emotional needs
Follow clinical protocols and documentation standards
Support patient education and family communication
Maintain safety and compliance in all activities
