Closing Processor, Escrow DepartmentSupervisor: Branch ManagerOverall Responsibility:To assist Escrow Officers in processing and completing real estate closingsKey areas of responsibility:Provides support to Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings.Answer incoming calls and help client or direct call to the appropriate personOpen new orders and gather information from the parties to the transactionPost Earnest Money and send Deposit Confirmation to appropriate parties.Track & Review title commitment - Forward title commitment to the appropriate partiesCompare Information on the contract with title commitmentNotify Escrow Officer of any special requirements shown on the commitment or discrepancies in the information gatheredPrepare initial title package for new lender (Escrow Officer to prepare and/or review CDF)If applicable to the transaction, order:Lien and/or Utility SearchesSurveyHomeowner's Association EstoppelsMortgage payoffsLien payoffsWDO reportFollow up on all items ordered to insure we receive themPrepare closing documentsPost ClosingSend lender packageRecordSend disbursement checksSend final recorded docs and title policies (if not previously sent)Review Final File checklistStamp and send outgoing mail as well as process incoming mailAny other task as assignedConsults with Escrow Officer(s), Branch Manager and all levels of managementQualifications:Strong customer service skillsDetail orientedAbility to communicate clearlyStrong work ethic; dependable; trustworthyGood organizational skillsStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)Pass background screeningExperience:High School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in real estate closing or related field preferable but not required
