Position Summary
The Senior Cloud Engineer is a hands-on technical leader responsible for shaping and supporting the organization's Microsoft cloud environment. This role focuses on cloud architecture, security, automation, AI enablement, and data platform strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and modern solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud solutions.
Lead cloud security, governance, compliance, and identity management initiatives.
Drive adoption of AI and automation technologies to improve business processes.
Support and enhance cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship across the IT organization
Top Qualifications
Strong experience with Azure architecture, Microsoft 365, and enterprise cloud operations.
Deep knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and governance best practices.
Experience with AI platforms, automation, and modern cloud technologies.
Background supporting data platforms, analytics, or data engineering environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across technical and business teams.
Ideal Background
Candidates who have served as a Senior Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, Azure Architect, Microsoft Solutions Architect, or Infrastructure Architect in a Microsoft-centric environment will be particularly well aligned. Experience leading cloud modernization, security initiatives, and enterprise technology strategy is highly desirable.
