Cloud Engineer – Containers and Infrastructure
GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Software Development and Testing; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Job Description:
Performs software development and testing on a forward-looking team for private cloud solutions and microservices containerization and infrastructure development. The Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure participates in all phases of the Software lifecycle.
Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Required Skills :
Experience working with CNI, Virtual IP load balancers such as Calico or Multus, and Kube-Vip
Performs system-level testing, container and infrastructure evaluation, and related tasks and activities.
Documents system test results, failure reports, and documentation deficiencies.
Performs maintenance of system documents (updates and corrections).
Proficient with LINUX
Cloud Engineer – Containers and Infrastructure Desired Skills:
Experience with C++ and Java software development
Experience deploying DevSecOps pipelines in Microsoft Azure
Ability to perform as a self-starter and work with minimal supervision and oversight when required.
Ability to perform system configuration or troubleshooting procedures related to containers and infrastructure.
Cloud Engineer – Containers and Infrastructure Additional Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 3 years of experience; Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
