Job OpportunityLooking for both part-time and full-time employees.Job SummaryPerform cleaning and maintenance functions for the Spokane Club buildings (Hotel, Restaurants, Athletics). Interaction with Club Members happens often.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a high level of cleanliness in the locker rooms at all timesMaintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and locker room amenitiesGather soiled linens / stock clean linensEmpty and remove trash as neededKeep equipment, closets, and dispensaries clean and organizedProvide exceptional service to all clients at all times through customer-centric behaviorClean equipment in conditioning roomProvide assistance with cleaning of common areas such as the hotel/banquet roomsAssist with special events, projects, and programs as neededEnsure that all equipment in the locker room is properly functioningResolve member issues using effective customer service and leadership skillsAnd other cleaning duties as needed or assigned.Benefits for Full Time EmployeesMedical, dental, vision insurance available the first month after 30 days of employment. The Spokane Club covers most of the cost. Family members can be added at an additional expense.Basic life insurance coverage for all full-time employees, currently at $50k.401k planAccrued vacation time of up to 10 days per year, along with sick pay of 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Vacation time increases to 15 days after 5 years.6 paid holidays, along with 1 "floating" holiday to use whenever you like.Employee meal program where a company provided lunch is usually offered for free. Plus 25% off meals in our Restaurant & Deli.Free downtown parking.Qualifications18 years or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work under little to no supervision at times.Ability to organize work flow on a daily basisManual dexterity and ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, etc.Ability to climb laddersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds of unbalanced weight regularly and to push carts of towels to/from laundry areaUnderstand proper use of various cleaning materials and equipmentAbility to be on your feet for most of the shiftAbility to pass a criminal background checkPositive attitude; takes pride and ownership in jobExperience in a janitorial, maintenance, and/or housekeeping positionFrequent walking and exercise movements; bending, lifting, pushing and squatting are movements performed dailyKey to SuccessSelf-starting personality with an even disposition.Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.Our members are our customers and everything we do is to make the Club a good place for them to be a member of.One of the keys to a positive guest experience is a positive interaction with staff.
