Medical Assistant – Psychiatry/Pediatrics ClinicDes Plaines, Illinois Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMWe are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient Psychiatry/Pediatrics clinic. This role supports psychiatric providers and behavioral health professionals in delivering high-quality patient care to children, adolescents, and adults.Key ResponsibilitiesObtain and document patient vital signsSchedule appointments and coordinate patient careProcess medication refill requestsComplete insurance prior authorizationsCollect and send laboratory specimensSupport both virtual and in-person patient visitsAssist with developmental pediatrics services as neededQualificationsMedical Assistant experience requiredBLS certification requiredOutpatient clinic experience preferredPsychiatry or behavioral health experience preferredEPIC EMR experience preferredStrong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyAssignment HighlightsFirst-time travelers welcomeNo weekends, on-call, or holiday requirementsFree onsite parkingFlexible scrub color policyCollaborative team environment with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staffJoin a dedicated behavioral health team committed to providing exceptional outpatient psychiatric care.
