CMA Float - SW ZoneCMA Float Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together ***Sign On Bonus for Eligible New Hires*** Travel Required between the following clinic locations: 7001 Granbury Rd Fort Worth, Red Dirt Rd Fort Worth, Tx S Collins St Arlington, Tx W Randol Mill Rd -Ste, 150 Arlington, TX W Arbrook Blvd - Ste 100,101,240, & 300 Arlington, TX 76014 Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift; Monday through Friday (7:00A-5:00P); schedule varies based on individual clinic hours/needs Clinic Highlights Great Team environment Good communication among employees Patient Oriented Clinics Opportunity to work in different areas of the clinics (front desk, CMA duties, triage, etc.)QualificationsHere's What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED) 1 year Medical Assistant experience within the last three years (REQUIRED) CMA - Certified Medical Assistant upon hire (REQUIRED) Two years of CMA experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED) Bilingual - English/Spanish (PREFERRED) Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED) BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED) ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire (PREFERRED) Skills & Abilities Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections as needed by assigned clinic Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients Demonstrated knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures Thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations Demonstrated sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations What You Will Do Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures. Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider. Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem. Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration. May work in the front office as needed, as well as perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
