Certified Medical Assistant (Behavioral Health)Salary Range Hourly: $22/hour Maximum (for a candidate with a lot of experience) 18% Perm Placement Fee HM preferring local candidates for this position. LPNs are also being accepted for this position, as well.The Certified Medical Assistant (Behavioral Health) performs clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor. The Medical Assistant should reflect, through personal appearance and attitudes, the professional nature of the office. Cleanliness, neatness, ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner, a caring nature, and genuine enjoyment of patients are required personal qualities of this position. Because of the nature of the work, i.e. care of patients, emotional stability is also required. Must be aware of the need for discretion and for keeping confidential all matters relating to the practice, its employees, and patients.
