As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced urgent care environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a team-oriented setting, and is committed to delivering outstanding care to patients of all ages.What you can expect from this role:Schedule: Variable schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week. Our clinic is open seven days a week from 8am-8pm, and shifts may include weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis.Responsibilities:Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, treatments, medications, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.Assist with drug screens and occupational health servicesManage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.Provide excellent customer service while assisting with clinical documentation, follow-up tasks, and care coordination.CMA QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalentCertificationsCurrent BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHALPN QualificationsEducationGraduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing ProgramCertificationsCurrent BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of PracticeWhat's In It For YouAt St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
