CMM Programmer/OperatorShift: FirstEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Functions:Use CMM and other precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and surface plate inspection methods to perform dimensional inspectionsPerform in-process and final inspection in support of production activitiesApprove in-process production by confirming specificationsKeep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructionsMaintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and proceduresPerform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLCPosition Requirements:Efficient with CMM software - PC DMIS ++Skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height guages and surface plate inspection techniquesAbility to read blueprints and interpret customer specifications and standardsThorough knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Windows/Microsoft OfficeSelf-motivated and well organizedReasonable verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work and interact with departments throughout the organizationEducation and Experience Required:High School diploma or GED.2 years experience operating, programming PC DMIS ++ softwareExperience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.Minimum 1 year of experience in the Aerospace Industry.About the Organization:Harlow Aerostructures LLC is a leading supplier of complex machined components, electro-mechanical and structural subassemblies to the commercial, business and military aerospace industry as well as being certified as an FAA Repair Station by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
