CMM Programmer And Quality InspectorAt ReLogic Research, you won't be just another headcount. We are a tight-knit team of engineers, physicists, and technical professionals solving complex challenges in national defense and we are looking for a technically sharp CMM Programmer and Quality Inspector who takes pride in precision and gets satisfaction from turning a complex engineering drawing into a clean, accurate inspection result. As an AS9100D-certified small business supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Missile Defense Agency, our inspection capability is a core part of both our manufacturing and metrology service offerings. This is a hands-on technical role. You will be programming and operating our Zeiss CMM, developing inspection routines, interpreting engineering drawings, and generating the dimensional data that drives quality decisions across our programs. If you are the kind of person who can read a GD&T callout, set up the part, write the program, and deliver a clean inspection report, ReLogic is where you belong.Primary Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate Zeiss coordinate measuring machines to inspect precision aerospace components and assembliesDevelop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirementsPerform dimensional inspections for first article, in-process, and final inspectionsUse precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges for incoming and in-process inspection activitiesGenerate clear, accurate inspection reports and dimensional data packages for internal and customer useSupport First Article Inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements per ASME Y14.5 to define inspection strategy and measurement approachMaintain CMM equipment including calibration coordination and routine maintenanceCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional non-conformancesRequired Qualifications:Hands-on experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or inspection environmentStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5Experience using precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gaugesExperience generating inspection reports and dimensional data packagesStrong attention to detail and mechanical aptitudeClear written and verbal communication skillsMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Zeiss Calypso CMM programming software experience strongly preferred — familiarity with Zeiss CMM equipment and Calypso inspection routines is a significant plusExperience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with AS9100D quality management requirementsExperience supporting First Article Inspection per AS9102Familiarity with structured light scanning or other metrology equipmentAssociate or bachelor's degree in quality, engineering technology, or related fieldThis is a full-time salaried position with highly competitive compensation based on experience and skills, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
