Job DescriptionJob Title: CMM ProgrammerJob SummaryProvide quality support for engineering and manufacturing in the area of dimensional feedback for quality planning and product integrity. This service is provided through the ability to program, operate, and translate data from CMM equipment.ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of programming software and techniques.Understand and apply GD&T concepts and Drawing Interpretations.Manage the calibration and maintenance of the CMMs, fixtures and probing systems.Create, backup and review programs for effectiveness, efficiency and revisions are current.Operate / Program/Train and evaluate results of the CMM or applicable gauges.Create and update operator instructions for fixtures and running of programs.Manage CMM data collection and archiving.Perform in-process, first off and receiving inspection as required.Other duties as assigned.Academic/Educational RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience, training, or certifications.Required Skills/ExperienceMinimum of five years of experience performing metrological inspections in a manufacturing environment.Minimum of 3 years of experience programming CMM using Calypso or PCDMS Software.Proficient in GD&T and Blueprint Reading.Competent in the use of CAD Data and 3D ModelsWhat Linamar Has to OfferCompetitive CompensationEmployee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Medical, Dental & Vision etc.Opportunities for career advancement.Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.About UsLinamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
