CMM ProgrammerCardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a CMM Programmer in Sterling Heights, MI. The CMM Programmer/Operator will provide primary support for the development of Dimensional Reporting programs and/or templates. This candidate will apply knowledge in the latest version of dimensional reporting software. The CMM programmer/operator will take an active role in the completion of the scheduled measurement cycle through operation of CMM equipment.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop operating programs to provide accurate dimensional reportingPerform review and evaluation of CMM holding fixtures, component part, and assembly inspection fixtures;Complete detailed inspection plans documenting inspection resultsPerform and/or assist with calibration of inspection fixtures, gauges, holding fixtures, tools, etc. per established schedules;Must be experienced in reading blueprints and have a full understanding of GD&TMaintain a clean and safe work environment;Cooperate with internal and external certification audits and customer auditsThe position is 1st shift, working 40-55 hours per week or a flexible split/swing shiftAdhere to Team Handbook, Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures;Assure all safety devices are properly in place and utilized, Lockout/Tagout procedures are adhered to, PPE is worn correctly at all times, and reporting of any near-misses, injuries, or accidents occurs immediately;Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate.Experience and Education:CMM Inspection and Programming experience with Ziess or PC-DMIS2020R or NEWER or GOM & ATOSMust be experienced in reading blueprints and have a full understanding of GD&TExperience with inspecting formed sheet metal productsPerform 1st Piece Laser Machining and Form Buy-offsAbility to complete detailed inspection plans documenting inspection resultsMust be able to works efficiently in a fast-paced environmentMust have good organizational and documentation skillsBackground in Automotive and Aerospace Products is a plusPosition offers an excellent benefits package including 100% company paid medical insurance benefits after 60 days and life insurance.
